Comprehensive Game Guide

Welcome to the official PartAI manual. Here you will find all the necessary information to start your first game round, master the different game modes, and answer frequently asked questions. PartAI is designed to be intuitive, but a look at the details can give you the decisive advantage in the game.

First Steps: Start Playing in 3 Minutes

  1. Navigate to the 'Lobbies' area. Here you have the choice: Create a new, private lobby for yourself and your friends or join a public round. If you have received an invitation link, simply follow it.
  2. Once you are in the lobby, the host takes the lead. Various settings can be made: Which AI model should be used? How many rounds should be played? Which language is preferred?
  3. The game begins as soon as all players are 'Ready'. Don't worry: before each round, there are short explanations of what to do.
  4. After each round, you will see an evaluation. Points are awarded based on speed, creativity, or successful deception - depending on the mode. The overall winner is crowned at the end of the game.

Important: If a player leaves the game prematurely, the round can usually continue. Our systems dynamically adapt requirements to the remaining number of players.

Game Modes Overview

Classic
The Classic: One player receives a secret target word and must describe it with an image prompt without using the word itself. Others must guess the word based on the generated image. Speed is rewarded here!
Human Verification
In a world full of bots: Who is still real? In this mode, you must identify the human answers from a series. Caution: The AI tries to pass itself off as human.
AI Deception
Deception is everything. Players answer a question, but one answer comes from an AI. Your task is to expose the artificial answer while making your own answer as human as possible.
Fake News
Who writes the best headline? For an absurd image, all players must write a fitting 'Fake News' headline. The group votes on which headline is the funniest or most fitting.
Unfinished Story
A cooperative storytelling game with a competitive edge. The AI starts a story, and players suggest how it continues. The group chooses the best plot progression by voting.

Classic
Prompters create image prompts without the target word. Guessers race for points.
Human Verification
Answers are mixed. Spot the human ones and vote smart.
AI Deception
An AI answer hides among real submissions. Find it to earn votes.
Fake News
Write convincing headlines and vote the best – points come from votes.
Unfinished Story
Add story options, vote the best twist, and collect points.
Prompt Surgery
A prompt gets altered. Guess the original prompt to score.

Points

Points are lobby-based and used for the scoreboard in this round/lobby. When a lobby is closed, lobby points are deleted.

Scoring

Points are lobby-based and power the scoreboard. Depending on the mode, speed, votes, or hits decide.

  • Faster = more points (e.g., Classic).
  • Votes determine points (e.g., AI Deception, Fake News, Unfinished Story).
  • Lobby points reset when the lobby closes.

Fair play & safety

  • Do not share personal data in prompts or answers.
  • Private lobbies stay private – share links only with your group.
  • Short rounds and clear rules keep things fair.

Credits & shop

Credits are optional units for certain AI models. You can use one‑time passes or a subscription.

Troubleshooting

  • No lobby visible? Refresh the list or create a new one.
  • Round stuck? The host can finalize or set everyone to ready.
  • Login issues? Check spam and verify your email.
